About the Parade

The Hometown Christmas Parade is an old-fashioned community event for the whole family—to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and all its glory. We are inviting churches, businesses and other community groups from all over the Valley to join us for this very special parade.

The Hometown Christmas Parade is produced by the non-profit organization Glendale Christmas Parade, which is made up of community members who share a passion for letting the true star of Christmas shine.  If you have any questions, please contact Candy Sheperd 623.878.9607 or Julie Peterson at 602-460-4472.

There are many ways to be involved: parade entry (float, singing group, etc.), volunteer, committee member, and Community Champion. Please visit the Parade Entry or Support the Parade section of this web site for more details on how to become involved.

For a great cause!

The Hometown Christmas parade is active the whole month of November leading up to the parade collecting non-perishable food items for Hope for Hunger. Please join us! If you would like boxes or to schedule a pick for a food drive through your organizations please fill out the form here.
