The Citizens of Glendale are proud to announce the third annual Hometown Christmas Parade taking place on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Historic Downtown Glendale. This parade highlights all the magic and wonder of Christmas in a parade.  Last year’s parade was a huge success with 97 parade entries and over 10,000 people in attendance. The response was overwhelmingly positive!

The Hometown Christmas Parade is an old-fashioned community event for the whole family—to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and all its glory. We are inviting churches, businesses and other community groups from all over the Valley to join us for this very special parade.

We are excited to announce that Brian Mueller, President of Grand Canyon University will be our honorary guest at this year's parade!

There are many ways to be involved: parade entry (float, singing group, etc.), volunteer, committee member, and Community Champion. Please visit the Parade Entry or Support the Parade section of this web site for more details on how to become involved.

The Hometown Christmas Parade is produced by the non-profit organization Glendale Christmas Parade, which is made up of community members who share a passion for letting the true star of Christmas shine.  If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Fink 602.301.6193 or Julie Peterson at 602-460-4472.

For a great cause!

The Hometown Christmas parade is active the whole month of November leading up to the parade collecting non-perishable food items for Hope for Hunger.  Please join us!  If you would like boxes or to schedule a pick for a food drive through your organizations please fill out the form here.

On parade day, please bring non-perishable food items, clothing or new toys to donate to ABC15's Operation Santa Claus presented by Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln.  Donations and proceeds support Hope for Hunger, St. Mary's Food Bank, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center, Military Assistance Mission and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix.  Collection locations will be set up along the parade route.
